HIV on young urban professionals

Base on the study by Doctors at the PGH Disease Treatment Complex said the number of human infected by human immuno-deficiency virus (HIV) cases rose to 100 in past 10 months.

The number of filipinos infected includes urban professionals such as call center agents. The majority of the recent HIV cases tend to be younger, ranging from 15-29 ages who are well educated.

Some cases said they got the illness after engaging after office casual sex and some group sex on which they discovered through social networking sites on the internet.

With the current trend, by 2020 the health department said HIV patients the country could balloon to 20,000.
